How would i....?

find a chemical that kills flowers and weeds...i need to clear out an old garden and would prefer to just kill em off instead of pulling them out and ripping up a lot of dirt

How would i....?
We use RoundUp. It goes through the leaves, down the stems, and into the roots to kill the whole plant. It does not harm the soil and you can plant within 24 hours.





BUT.....you will still have to pull up the dead brown stuff.

Reply:if you're not in a big hurry, you can just cover the ground with something that will not allow in light.... like sheets of plywood, heavy cardboard, or several thicknesses of newspaper and then some kind of mulch on top.... or black plastic tarps....my favorite is an old pond liner or blue pool liner from an above ground pool.... does the job!
