I occasionaly smoke weed at the back of my house outside. I share with the landlord who doesnt mind.?

However the other day i left my window open on the ground floor and the breeze took the smoke indoors. She asked me if i had been smoking in my room and i explained that i only ever smoke outdoors but got the feeling she didnt believe me. I now feel guilty that she thinks i am taking liberties when i have done nothing wrong apart from smoking weed which she is fine about. What do people think? How do i clear the air?

summer is upon us, and that means the windows are open, you can close them before you leave to smoke or you should find somewhere else to do it. their really isn't much you can do..As far as your landlord, you gave your explanation there really isn't much more you can do. I am sure that she/he will keep there eye out to see if your lying, but this will past and so I wouldn't worry to much over this.

Reply:Honesty is the best policy. Don't worry she can tell if you are honest. I would just make sure you never get caught in the house, and watch how the wind is blowing. I work with tenants and you can smell the pot if they smoke in the house. Also the smoke sticks to all the painted surfaces.
