Pond looks 'dusty' after blanket weed killer used.?

I've used a blanket week killer in my pond.

It's a natural bacteria one not nasty chemicals but now that the blanket week is dead it's covered the plants in the pond with what can only be described as grey dust?

My pump is on but I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do to clear this stuff.

Pond looks 'dusty' after blanket weed killer used.?
That is dead blanketweed that is floating around and attaching itself to your other plants. Try rinsing the plants off with a strong hose or removing them from the pond and rinsing them off outside the pond.

You can also make a homemade filter out of a grow pot full of lava rock and foam rubber and pump your water through it. You will have to clean that filter several times a day until the pond is clear, but it works.
Reply:i use one of those round fat splatters you put over the frying pan.it collects all kind of debbry from the pond try it
Reply:use a net (fine) with long pole that is how they clean at swimming pool
Reply:try may be change about 25%-40% of your pond water. because some times chemicals and bacteria like water conditioner does cloud the water, the best way is to do a bit of water change with out stressing the fist/ plant
