The frequently asked question that rarely gets answers...how long will it take to ME to clear my sytem?

I'm about 100 lbs, 5'3", female, with a pretty fast matabolism, I don't smoke weed a lot, in the last week I've smoked twice for the first time in months, I have a drug test the 30th of January, should I be clean by then? I only took like, 3 or 4 hits each time, 5 at the max.





Please help.





Oh, and not to be rude, but if you're just going to tell me not to smoke and I wouldn't have this problem, please, don't respond, I don't have time for childish things like that. Thank you. :]

honestly, if it's a urine test then drink tons of water between now and then to clear your system, but if it is a hair strand test, a finger prick test, or some saliva test you might be in trouble. for your sake hope it is a simple urine test based on gravity but if it is not then you need a bad cold because you cant show up. my bet is that it isnt a urine test if they gave you that much warning because they know that users would take that time to alter the results... which would waste company time and money. i'd consider taking the want ads with me to pass the time in the waiting room just incase.
Reply:Since weed slowly kills your brain cells I don't think it would be childish if someone told you not to smoke weed. I think it would take an adult to be able to stand up to you and say don't smoke it. I personally don't know how long it takes to get out of your system but I do know what the bad effects of it are.

Reply:It takes about 30 days I think (I don't touch the stuff myself but that is what I am told). Tea and cranberry juice are both mild diuretics so they probably do help to "flush you out". Very large doses of tea or cranberry juice is not good, the tannins in them reduce the efficiency of iron absorption. I do not know what a large dose is, but if your daft enough to smoke weed you are probably daft enough to overdose on cranberries too.
Reply:The THC will actually stay in your system up to six months, but the pee tests only check for higher levels of it. I have a solution for you: you should find one of those drink-cleansers that clean out your system, because they really do work; I had a drug test 8 days after I smoked and i got that drink thing and I passed!! It does cost like $30 and tastes icky, but most of them promise it will work or your money back. You have to guzzle it a few hours before the test with like 2 gallons of water. Reply:It all depends on the quality of the bud you were smoking, and if you forgot how many hits you actually took. To play it safe go to your local G.N.C. and get some "Quick Flush" with creatine.(this will only mask an urine test)


Drink lots of water and cranberry juice from this day forward.


And need I say, Lay off the bud.

Urine (maskable)


Blood


Hair


Mouth swab


Hopefully this drug test is not being done by your probation officer.

Reply:THC builds up over time in your system. What people don't understand is that you can smoke one time and pass a drug test no problem. If what you say is true, you aren't a heavy smoker, so you should have no problem taking your drug test. What you can do you is begin drinking water about 5 days prior to your drug test. Since THC builds up in your fat cells, you aren't flushing your system, you're simply diluting your urine to make the level undetectable. Drink 3 or 4 gallons a day up until the day before your test. Drink normally on this day, this will help your urine to appear a little more concentrated ... if your urine is very clear and looks diluted, some testing facilities will not accept it, despite the temperature. By the time you give the urine sample, the level of THC should be extremely low and you should have no problems. Good luck!

I had a courtdate the day after i smoked the same amout as you... they ordered a drug test, i took the drug test 2weeks after smoking it... it turned positive with the dip stick pee drug test, but then they sent it to the lab its called a "UA" and the results turned back negative... when its below a certian percent it wont count.

Reply:Drink water like crazy. As much as you can possibly consume a day. Then you will be fine. I know people that smoke on a daily basis, drink a rediculous amount of water for a few days, then pass their tests. Good luck.
Reply:I don't smoke anymore but use to and cranberry juice helped me clean out my system. They have products out there that you can use to make you have a negative test. Guaranteed. If you test positive they will refund your money. I knew people that did the stuff and passed. I quit for lots of reasons but the main one was the place I was working did random tests and suppose able they were computer picked and I got picked 3 months in a row. Couldn't refuse test or would have been fired. Hope that this helps.
Reply:you should be fine right now......i weighed around 170lbs. 5ft 9 and smoked very often........i took a piss test 2 days after i had smoked and passed it so i wouldnt worry about it....
Reply:Hun, everyone makes their own mistakes and don't listin to the ridicule and harsh words from the other answers! My 18 yr. old brother gets in a lot of trouble with weed and he is given mandatory drug tests by his probation officer. He can smoke three days before his test and manage to be clean. He has bottles of GoldenSeal pills he buys from the grocery store that he takes...or niassin from the herb store. He takes them and drinks plenty of water all day long...and i mean ALL DAY LONG. When he is out of his pills you can always find him chugging bottles of water one after another and he still manages to pass. I hope everything works out for you and just remember to DRINK DRINK DRINK!
