What's the deal with cannabis/weed/marijuana in Nova Scotia, Canada?

I just read this article:

http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/...

and I'm still somewhat confused... Why are people still so sketchy about weed in Nova Scotia, and even around Canada about weed if it's "legal"... When am I going to hear from the government itself that weed is decriminalized? Please clear all this up for me, thanks.

Weed is not legal in Canada. The police are not going to bust people for possession unless the person is a complete idiot but technically it is still illegal. It was never decriminalized nor will it be.
Reply:Marijuana use in Canada is only for medical by doctors prescription.

They are paranoid everywhere, especially more now since America JR has to follow that stupid "War on Drugs" from the US.

Nova Scotia is on the edge of the ocean, and straight across is Morocco, one of the only countries left in the world where weed is 100% legal. Authorities fear importation of drugs, thats why NS is worse than anywhere else in Canada, other than BC.
